Fun to read for all the usual Dr Seuss reasons - rhymes, rhythms, full illustrations. A great book for beginner readers who are helped out by the simple sound repetitions with rhymes and alliteration. Reading this brings back memories of childhood for me. What better way to introduce your child to the joys of reading?

This is a great book for beginner readers, with lots of similar sounding words and alliteration. It is very well illustrated also, to involve the first-time reader. It's become a bit of a staple in our family as our children reach reading age, and because it is Dr Seuss it is guraranteed to delight.

Hop on Pop is an oldie but a goodie i totally love this book and the characters that are in volved in these books, even years later i still love to sit down and read these book and still get the same giggles, what would we have done in the word of books if we did not have dr seuss in our lives.
