This is a humorous and entertaining story. Kade is a Scot's warrior who is injured and taken to his good friend's home to recover where he meets and becomes intrigued with his friend's sister. Avy has low self-confidence but becomes enamoured with Kade and agrees to marry him. They travel to his run-down castle where they face a lot of obstacles in order to restore their home as well as evade constant attempts on Kade's life. It's full of action and danger, sensuality, lots of humour and a dramatic showdown with a murderous villain.
