Reading this book with an open mind is the best advice I can give - in a good way. I have experienced this book as very easy reading, motivating and inspirational. At first I thought ..."What?!", but it all makes sense. I feel more in touch with my body, understanding the communication between what I want and what my body wants. Following some principles (not all yet) for a week now, and I have more energy, feel better in myself and will recommend this book to any of my friend. (the real ones) because this is a treasure.
I decided to buy the book after seeing it on a current affairs show. I have just finished reading it and i already feel alot better - i have stopped feeling guilty for not being on a diet, and instead of craving sweet and savoury foods i want to eat healthy. This book tackles how the mind and body work together. I have started making changes and already feel so positive and feel lighter in a couple of days. Great Read!.
This is the only thing that I have stuck with from the beginning. He really talks my language. I love the CD that I downloaded. I listen every night and do just as he suggests. Its only been a couple of weeks and I feel great, no cravings and peace of mind with lots of things, give it a go you have nothing to loose, except weight. Happy reading.
I bought this book after seeing an article on TV about Jon Gabriel. I was interested in finding out more about his methodology. I was not disappointed. I'm not one to buy into the latest fad diet, preferring common sense. Jon's approach is refreshingly holistic with good scientific research to back it up. This is also written in an easily digestible style and well laid out. He's kept it simple, even with all the long winded scientific terminology. I felt great just having read this book the first time and will likely read it many times over. Great personal philosophy! Highly recommend it.
I was disappointed that the DVD didn't come with it. Book could have been written with less repeatitive so that you get the assistance fast, bit boring and not finished. Would prefer more method, then explanation after, not the slow build up.
I found this book to be really insightful into the why's we gain weight. Jon has a great way of explaining things. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has had trouble loosing weight. I have lost weight already without stressing about.
My partner has lost 20kg and I have lost 15kg. We have been following this book for 1 1/2 months. I will never turn back to the foods I used to eat. I do not crave or want foods that I used to eat. I started out using this book because I wanted to lose weight, but now I dont care about that, my body will take care of weight loss, Im just living my best life now. I follow the programme, im happy and ive got energy...goh im not half dead with malnutrition and my partner well he loves chasing me around the house. So what more can I say.
