About the Author

Bernadette Tynan is an international expert on education and childdevelopment. After doing a Postgraduate Certificate of Education, followed by an MEd at the University of Cambridge she pioneered the first internationally accredited MA Programme on gifted children in the UK, at Westminster College, Oxford (now Westminster Institute of Education) She also has a PhD from the University of London. Alongside her academic achievements Bernadette continues to expand her understanding and skills through her work in practice and in schools with gifted children from a wide variety ofdifferent backgrounds, both in the UK and globally.
