It is great to have all three instructional books made into one easy to carry book. Hal Leonard books are well known for being easy to follow. This book is ideal for the beginner to beginning intermediate player. The realistic CD's that accompany this book are an excellent learning tool. A book I would most certainly recommend to any guitarist being a beginner or even someone wanting to polish up the sight reading skills and technics. A fantastic price aswell.

Excellent book for the beginner, very structured and easy to understand and whilst learning guitar manages to teach you to read music as well! Great book!

The good old Hal Leonard Guitar method book! Don't know how many people have used one or more of these instructional books to improve themselves (or got overwhelmed in realising just how much there is to learn). The great thing about these Hal Leonard published instructional works is that they are step by step giudes to one or two styles of guitar playing. So you won't get lost, but probably learn quite a lot.
