This book is not what one would expect, and from such a 'seasoned' writer who would have the ability to do a full 'programme' of lessons. It only gives an overview of different trainer's methods and does not give a programme for groundwork training which is what I expected. The lessons that are in the book are just very basic. This does not make it a bad book at all, but then I purchased it believing it would give me a progressive training session of ground work and it did not do this, I was expecting more and definitely not a series of different methods. In all, I was disappointed with this book for myself as I was expecting something different and more ongoing. Good for rider's not sure which method to use.
