Classic Dr Seuss, a must for all children book shelves. A great rhyming story which is funny to read to children – and the bright orange cover is a attention grabber for all children. Just got to love Sam I am...............

What a fabulous book for children from toddlers to those at primary school. The use of language and rhyme is just delicious... As is the important message about giving food a try before saying you don't like it! Ha ha! A true classic!

Any child will love this book. When I was small I used to ask my parents to read it to me over and over again.
This book is so wonderful because of all the rhyming words in it. Because of the rhyming words this book is so catchy and very enjoyable to read.
The illustrations are great and the wording is even better.

This is a classic! Do you like green eggs and ham?well Sam-I-Am does and he will try to get you to try them any way he can,so watch out for that Sam-I-Am.
Where ever you go he will follow so read this book to see if you will try them or not!

This is one of my 2 year old son's favourite books - he knows the last page and insists on "reading" it himself, and can help out with reading to his younger brother by naming the things I point to or completing the simple rhymes - house, mouse, fox, box, train, rain. He delights in seeing Sam-I-Am's friend "have a taste" and find out that he DOES like them after all!!

Dr Seuss is most definitely responsible for putting a lot of people off their dinner, and also for encouraging the experimentation with food coloring in a whole range of normal foodstuffs that probably did not need spectrum alteration in the first place.
What a devious, sneaky and subversive publication.
