The Girl Genius series of graphic novels is a must for any fan of steampunk adventure stories. The Foglios' creation is a madcap epic filled with interesting characters and events and based in an exciting world where Mad Science reigns supreme. This omnibus would be the perfect introduction to the series for a new reader.

The Girl Genius series of graphic novels is a fantastic, manic, and light-hearted epic adventure. The story is ongoing at www.girlgeniusonline.com, but being able to hold a physical collection is much more fun that just reading off the screen, although it is more expensive. I would recommend Girl Genius for Young Adults and up, as though it's mostly innocuous there's some sexual content that might not be suitable for younger readers.
