This is an excellent very accessible book which should be read by everyone who has to deal with children with high functioning ASD or Asperger's Syndrome.

Now, this book is useful, insightful and for teenagers with Aspergers or are a bit different. Good sections on bullying and how to deal with it, sleep problems, issues at school to name a few.
My son is always targeted at school, most probably like your child. Always the end result is witnesses say this and the school goes with it. Disappointing though that no one sees what caused the problem or payback in the first place.
A great section in this book is subject to tell or not to tell. This gives the kids an insight into MR or Mrs Policeman scenarios but from a teenager who has Aspergers.
Also purchased Asperger Download- Check out that review.
The book is suitable for high school kids who have literacy skills as alot of reading.

Luke Jackson draws on his experience as a teenager with Asperger's Syndrome to present a perspective on AS. The book provides a great deal of practical advice for teenagers on the spectrum and those who interact with them. In addition--and perhaps most importantly--the book provides a very well organized and comprehensive view of the condition from the "inside," taking a great step to making what perplexes those on the "outside" understandable. One very nice feature of the book is that the writer recognizes the significance of individual differences in the way AS is manifested in different people. As a special bonus, the book is sprinkled with a delightful sense of humor of a quality with which few people outside the spectrum are endowed.
