"Flat Stanley" is a very funny book. I read it as a kid and still remember how funny it is. The main character is a boy Stanley who is perfectly normal except that he is flat (I think he gets flattened somehow, I can't remember). The book is how his family deals with him and all the things they can do with a flat person. Some of the ideas are very original, there are great drawings too, but the book is also a bit sad in parts. Has an interesting message for kids about accepting differences.
