This is a very old book but the techniques haven't changed. Highly recommended to me by some of the top directors in Hollywood, walks you through some of the most important techniques, why you'd use them, when to use them and how. Gets you thinking about the whole process through to the cutting room. Not that we use cutting rooms much now...
