An incredibly thorough and well researched commentary, replacing Gordon Fee's volume in the New International Commentary on the New Testament Series as the premiere volume on Paul's first epistle to the Corinthians. Exegetical work and issues of interpretation are all given the fullest treatment. An excellent volume for academics; for preachers, try Blomberg's volume in the NIVAC, Morris's work in the TNTC series, or Prior's excellent exposition in the BST.
