I bought this book for my 6 year old daughter, and would highly reccommend it. The illustrations and photos are fantastic and the text is child appropriate. At 6 my daughter is quite interested in how her body works, and I find it an excellent reference to explain things to her. I think the book would be useful for children from about the age of 5 - 10 years.
