"Logan does a very good job of keeping things simple and straight
forward. Fairly well written using a simple approach without
extensive theoretical and mathematical theory. The text is very
complete."
"Logan has a very easy-to-read style, while retaining the precision
and clarity of engineering topics without being dry."
"The author presented topics in a simple and easy-to-follow way and
provided subsequently proper derivation or illustration to enhance
students' understanding. I cannot find a textbook which is better
than this one in the field of finite element method."
