About the Author
Joss Whedon is the creator of and guiding light behind Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. He is also the Oscar-nominated writer of Toy Story, and Speed. Serenity, which he also wrote, was his feature film debut as director, and continued the story from Firefly. He is currently writing a Wonder Woman movie, which he will also direct.

A first point of note is that this book only contain the scripts for the first six episodes (although one of these is the movie length unaired pilot), the rest of the series is included in volume 2. While a large proption of the book is spent on the scripts, these are not page upon page of text. Every page has screenshots, concept art or extra behind the scenes information that will interest and entertain the reader. The individual scripts are also started with an introduction from the writer. Also include is a full page about each of the 9 main cast.
Beautifully printed in bright colours on glossly paper a great purchase for Firefly/Serenity fans and a must have for any true Browncoat.
An interesting book full of information on the series. There are plenty of gorgeous photos and illustrations, some great interviews and essays, information on costume designs for the characters and scripts for a few of the episodes, complete with lines from scenes that were cut out later and little commentary bits. A shiny book and recommended to all Browncoats.
