Janet Evanovich now lives in New Hampshire but, like Stephanie Plum, grew up in New Jersey. Laugh out loud funny as always - if you haven't read Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plumb series then I recommend that you start at number one and work your way up to this one...
Clever, witty, snappy writing - always entertaining and not heavy going so you can knock it over in a few days (or an afternoon).
Cannot recommend more highly for people who like crime stories without all the blood and gore - and with a little (ok a lot) of romance on the side!
i have read all of the other books in this series, Janet Evanovich is an amazing writer and all of her books are easy to read and suck you in, i find my self reading the first chapter and by the end i cant put it down so i end up reading the whole thing, it is great. i cant wait to read this book soon.
Another great read for the Stephanie Plum lovers, not quite up to par with her earlier books but much better than No14 in my view. Stephanie is in the off stage once again with Morelli & back into Ranger's bed, but only as a place to live since Lula has taken over Steph's appartment. Lula is being hunted for witnessing a murder, she & grandma Mazza are trying their hand at barbequeing which is hillarious. Ranger's business is in trouble & Steph comes to the resque. Lots of laughs, romance & murder
Stephanie Plum at her finest! The Joe Morelli/Ranger love triangle intensifies and, with more exploding cars than you can poke a stick at, this is classic Janet Evanovich.
I'm a fan of the Stephanie Plum series but I was disappointed with 'Lean Mean Thirteen' and 'Fearless Fourteen'. I have found that Janet Evanovich has picked up her game in this book with plenty of comedy and kooky characters. I really enjoyed this book and it was so easy to read that I had finished it before I knew it. Excellent book for Stephanie Plum fans or anyone who just wants a laugh.
