The Daleks are advancing, their empire constantly expanding into Earth's space. The Earth forces are resisting the Daleks in every way they can. But the battles rage on across countless solar systems. And now the future of our galaxy hangs in the balance...The Doctor finds himself stranded on board a starship near the front line with a group of ruthless bounty hunters. Equipped with space suits, golf clubs and a flag, the Doctor and Rose are planning to live it up, Apollo mission-style, on the Moon. But the TARDIS has other plans, landing them instead in a village on the south coast of England; a picture-postcard sort of place where nothing much happens. Until now...An archaeological dig has turned up a Roman mosaic, circa AD 70, depicting mythical scenes, grapes and a Dalek. A few days later a young woman, rushing for work, is knocked over and killed by a bus, then comes back to life. It's not long before all hell breaks loose, and the Doctor and Rose must use all their courage and cunning against an alien enemy and a not-quite-alien accomplice who are intent on destroying humanity. Featuring the Doctor and Rose as played by David Tennant and Billie Piper in the hit series from BBC Television.1
very rough story. Way to much killing and horrible stuff in it for me. the daleks are extreamly awefull in this story!!!!, and may I say that almost every carecter other than the doctor dies which is horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! and also anoying becouse you just start to get used to a carecter and then they get killed horribly by the daleks. The over all story line is ok but extreamly violent. I don't think The doctor is quit right in carecter eather. Normally he would definetly do SOMETHING EXTRORDINARY to save the ones who died, not just sit there. And except it. Only very acashionly did he react very much. Only really for the girl and a darlek. The carecters in it are not very nice at all eather, except the girl who dies at the start. There all rather horrible people and also very violent and uncaring. Just plain killers really. Well that's pretty much what they are in the storyline. Hunters of the deleks that do it for money!! Well I sertainly would never read it again and I don't recomend it at all.
