Spoilers ahoy! If you haven't seen Season 2 of Torchwood, make sure that you know what happens in the episodes "Reset" and "A Day in the Death" and "Dead Man Walking" before you pick up this title. Granted, this isn't difficult information to find online and is now no longer really considered a spoiler in the general fan community, but without it you might find yourself a little bit at sea.

That said, this is a fun TW adventure. It's quite Owen-centric, with Toshiko coming a close second. Alien threats, multitudinous residents of "Skypoint" and a get-the-ci…-we-fix-it setup leads to some suspense. It follows the line of some of the more recent TW novels being a bit less serious and has some very enjoyable banter and situations between the characters.
