"The fourth updated edition of the weighty vet's reference Gary D. Norsworthy, et.al.'s The Feline Patient is a comprehensive 'must' for any library on feline diseases and health. . . ne to this edition is expanded referencing to primary sources, an easier format, and an extended directory of genetic test providers. Highly recommended!." (The Midwest Book Review, 1 February 2011)
"The chapters are frequently accompanied by excellent, high-quality, color images that readily illustrate the clinical presentation. Two sections deal with major aspects of behavior and dentistry conditions. The chapters in these sections are written in a practical approach often accompanied by useful images or illustrations. Another two sections describe a large collection of surgical and clinical procedures that I found very useful. The chapters in these sections list the clinical indication for the procedure, thoroughly explain how procedures are conducted, and highlight possible complications.
This is an excellent clinical resource for veterinary clinicians who manage diverse aspects of feline practice. It is written clearly and concisely and covers all pertinent points that one will need to take into consideration in the management of feline cases. It is easy to use, especially in the setting of a busy practice -- all of which clearly meet the goals of the authors." ("Doody's", March 2011)
