Was recommended this book by my daughter so decided to see what it was all about. The subject is fascinating and extremely easy to read and understand for he person with limited medical knowledge. I really appreciated the calorie lists and suggested recipes at the back of the book. Both my husband and I have followed the fast diet, although not strictly as yet, but the weeks that we did we found it very easy to sustain the fast for the two days with normal eating days inbetween and both lost at leastr three kilos over a period of about a month which we were very happy about. Intend to follow the diet more strictly in the next couple of weeks and would recommen it to anyone wishing to improve their overall health with the stress of limiting yourself all the time. A very enjoyable and educating read.
Easy to read and follow, good scientific information as well as how to apply the diet to your own life. Have been thinking about the ratio 2:5 ever since. Am able to choose which days I diet and whci hdays I don't and that's very flexible and easy to manage.
This book is well written by a Doctor and a food expert. Easy to read and to makes your own mind up re the results that are presented. Looks like it works and I will know soon enough for myself. I was put onto this book by my sister in-law and as I've got to the age where the winter weight takes a bit to long to come off I thought that I would give it a go and as I'm a person that gets bored with diets after a about a week it sounded if it may suit me. And after reading the fast diet book thought that this may not only help me loose the most of winter weight as well as helping my health.
I have now done 3 weeks and am feeling better and my cloths fit better I really don't think of this as a diet but a slight change of life style
