THIS IS LAUREN'S SECOND NOVEL AND MUCH BETTER THAN HER FIRST. SHE HAS PUT MORE EFFORT INTO THIS NOVEL. I FOUND IT TO BE A PAGE TURNER FROM THE START IT ALWAYS HAD ME GUESSING WHAT WAS GOING ON ONLY TO FIND OUT I WAS TOTALY WRONG. IF YOU LIKED TWILIGHT YOU WILL LIKE FALLEN.

This book has weaves you into the pages of it and i am waiting for the third one to come out. (which i will buy of fishpond) I think this book sucks you in with the powers of the words that lauren kate uses. even though i find the main character a pansy she has an appealing trait to her. and daniel needs to choose a side! there were a few faults but i found myself reading and reading and reading. i couldn't put it down. if your are into some books with mystery and a big action fight out at the end, with romance and friendship. buy this book.

Despite this coming out during the whole Twilight craze, its not really Twilight at all. There are NO vampires. There are NO werewolves. Love and love triangles are apparent in many fiction outlets. Mainly because love is a big part of anyones life, werewolf, vampire, superhero, fallen angel or human. The inclusion of the love aspect and love triangle don't make Fallen any more Twilight than it does Spider-man and Mary Jane or Cyclops and Jean Grey. "Fallen" is a fast read. You could read it in 3 days to a week. The book starts off very strongly though it does stagnate a bit in the middle. Its not completely eventful. It seems this books purpose is to delve into the revelations behind Luce, Daniel and Cam. Luce may come across as delusional, as she is pervaded by stalking shadows throughout the book in places. There are hints throughout the book Daniel is something more than human. You'd also think Cam was a normal guy until later in the book.
If you are expecting a build up to something big in the end, you may be underwhelmed. Its not neccesarily a bad thing, but it sure gets you wanting to read the next book, Torment.

You have to definitely read the book! I loved it. The cover of the book is also really pretty. I recommended it to some of my friends and they fell in love with it. Also check out the sequels of Fallen!

I absolutely LOVE Lauren Kate. The entire time you are reading this book it feels like the characters have this BIG secret that you are not privvy to and you are on this journey with Luce to discover it. Most amazing love story, I just couldn't put the book down. Beautifully written and sooo much better than Twilight! _3

Very good book i didn't think that i would be into an angle book but this changed my perspective, i love the love story the feeling of having meet before and shared a life, there are no character that didn't have a good role or that i disliked, i think it was a clever story line and was always interesting i am looking forward to the next book.

Honestly, it's not even nearly as good as Twilight. It was easy to read but I found it a bit slow paced, it just got interesting at the end, which is the only reason I finished the book. I found it pretty average.
