An absolutely amazing book with an easy - to - find solution for everything.I cured a wart with nail polish and had many other successful results. A must for every household!!!!!!!
When I first got this book, my teenage girls couldn't put it down, ooh-ing & aah-ing at what you could do with common household items. Their favourite was making giant bubble-blowers out of old wire coathangers, for my nephews (pg 116). Not only is it helpful when you need a quick-fix, but it actually makes interesting reading.
It's full of interesting little hints like using mayo to condition hair or strengthen your nails, & all the things you can do with a rubber band or an old pair of thongs.
The best tip for me is the use of WD-40 on joints to relieve arthritis pain (pg 363) - & I used to laugh at my Dad for doing this...
