An excellent book, one of my all-time-favorites for sure! Evernight boarding school is isolated in the middle of nowhere, away from the modern world and away from the old life Bianca Oliver knew. Student at Evernight were too perfect, straight hair, beautiful faces...like you see in movies only for Bianca it was real. She instantly felt like she didn't belong there, but Bianca soon meets Lucas and with all the bad things at Evernight at least one thing seems good. Except there are secrets at Evernight that will change Bianca's life, but will it be for the best or worst?

I fell in love with the Evernight series right from book one. The story is well told and the most unexpected twist in the middle. this seris will keep you guessing right up till the very end. It was very easy to be enchanted by the love story of Bianca and Lucus, and be drawn into the world of Evernight Academy.

this book read a lot like twilight. similar story line, same targetted age group, same themes - personal developemnt, love, betrayal etc. although i'm a fan of both, i think the genre is being massacred by these books, yet i still can't put them down...highly highly addictive and a great read!!

In the sudden saturation of teen vampire books this is definatley one of the better ones. Its Bianca's first year at Evernight a gothic bording school her parents have taken jobs at. Bianca is n ot happy to be there till she meets Lucas. neither of them really fit in but do make a few friends to make it a bareable place to be. There is a twist about a quarter in which was not what I had guessed it would be. The story of first love with the confusing of feelings & needs is more believable in this book than it was in Twilight. Was getting sick of all these teeny vamp stories other than the series by P C Cast but am looking forward to Stargazer.

I loved this book so much I could not put it down - it only took me 8 hours to get through it (everything else can wait believe me) Hold onto your hats kids! there is a twist you just don't see coming but what a ride. I loved twilight but I loved this just as much and am waiting for book No. two to come in the mail(ordered it two minutes after I finished this one) you will too.
