This box set would make a perfect gift for any fan of Orson Scott Card's epic series of Ender stories. This collection does not contain the full saga, but four of the first books of the series are here. This would also be a great introduction to Card's work for sci fi readers who haven't yet discovered Ender.

I must say, this quartet has just about everything a science fiction reader could want! Excellent story lines, moral intrigues, scientific mysteries and a great cast of characters that bring to life the excellent story telling offered us by the Author. Any of the books can be read as individuals but I would highly recommend reading the set in order as it adds to the depth and wealth of the reading experience. Orson Scott Card is definitely one of my new favourite authors and I will be buying more of his books.
