There are always plenty of cheesy "shock" authors that try to sell books with fringe viewpoints - and then use data mining to find facts to support the view. This is not one of those books. Mauldin does a thorough presentation of facts and then presents quite fair viewpoints as to how governments might deal with it and how the situation may unfold. Mauldin does makes stands on what seem to be highly likely cause and effects and a short chapter at the end on investment ideas.
Overall it's a very well written overview that gives an insight into how economics plays out. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the drama being played out right now.
P.S. John Mauldin has an outstanding free weekly e-newsletter that you can sign-up for free.
