this is not suitable for children under the age of 15. This is a book that I highly reccomend as we need to know about the things that happened during the holocaust, but it is also graphic - there is one scene concerning a mother and baby that is particulary haunting and heartbreaking. That this woman survived is a miracle and I comend her for having been able to write such a moving and readable account of such a horrifying part of her life. You will not forget this story, or her courage.
This is a beautifully written, heartbreaking story. I love reading Holocaust literature and this was a beautiful little gem I found in a second-hand bookstore. I absolutely recommend it as a book to buy. It's incredible!
