The story is a little bit drop back for me. Although it is a good connected part to other books to come, it seems repeating strategy used in the second and third books, "The Great Cow Race" and "Eye of the Storm", by slightly of the point but also shows the hints of the following story. It is not that fun like the second book and nothing fresh like the third. What I appreciate the most is the cute Rat cub, the new character that will be more cuter when the story goes. Despite the negative comments, it still a joyful book to read and, as it is part of Bone series, how can we miss.
