It's a cute book but the biggest shock is that it is more of a pamphlet than a book and not really worth the money. Has a cute story that runs through the book to go with the characters that you create but there are only instructions for a few and the rest is stories and swirly writing. I would have given it 2 and a half stars as the bits of information that are in the book are quite good but it really seems overpriced for what it is.

This book is a good buy for its price. It is a small book dedicated to the creation of dragons- sleeping, growling, crawling, pouncing. It takes the basic body of a dragon and explains how to make diffeneces in the pose. It is a fantastic beginners book-especially someone interested in dragons

Inspirational and very helpful if you are beginning to make sculptured dragons. Instructions and illustrations are clear and easy to follow. This is the first book in this series that I have bought, but if the others are as good, I will buy more. The modelling is aimed at polymer clay, but you could use this as a guide to modelling dragons in any medium.

For its size, this slim booklet is still filled with eye-candy and useful hints on how-to.
Perhaps in the future all the booklets will be republished in one hard cover, but until then they are still - generally - a useful reference too for people wanting to use polymer clay in different ways. Unfortunately the price does get to the 'ouch' level after shipping costs are added in, but then thats a common problem with all printed material from the US.
However, if ordering with other books, remember the 'shipping free' total... and really, while you *can* find similar information by hunting through other books or on the web, having it all in one place and working through the projects inside is, to my mind, worth the price - let alone the fact that her slightly quirky artistic view is different to a lot of work out there and good for inpiration.
