This is a good read if you're interested in brain structure and function. Unfortunately I could not find any supporting evidence for any of Dr Melillo's claims, nor did I come across any actual research or studies done in it's regard. There were no references in the book that could be checked up. It appears to rely solely on personal testimonials for back up.
As a parent of a child with Asperger's and ADHD, I found that some of the tests are not really practical to be done at home and there are so many of them that my children got bored with it very quickly.
Also, although he states that these 'disorders' are not caused by things such as bad parenting - as once claimed. He makes some very direct and judgemental comments on issues such as working parents and obesity which I found annoying.
This is an interesting read on a very interesting idea, but it's just another idea without any backup. The book tends to become rather tedious to get through and the program is not as easily implemented as suggested.
