Amanda is the Assistant Director at Council for Disabled Children (CDC). Amanda's work at CDC is to develop the health and participation services offered to disabled children and young people to help them live ordinary lives. Amanda has worked in children's policy both as a researcher and campaigner for the past 19 years. During that time she has worked in many areas including youth unemployment, leaving care, homelessness, family support and issues facing disabled children and their families.
