This book was certainly worth purchasing. Having said that there are a couple of points I feel could have been done better. Some interesting details were left out, and I don't think I needed to see a window or door detail for almost every house. Some more/larger photos of details mentioned in the text would have been better as well. Still, this book is worth buying and the projects shown have given me a lot of inspiration.

This book is of extremely high quality and detail. It comes with a CD rom which includes all the architectural detailing in digital format. It is an excellent source for education and inspiration for anyone who is involved in the construction industry. The designs are outlined by topic, such as glass, wood, steel, etc and have high resolution colour images of the buildings. It is filled with very sophisticated details, I would highly recommend it as an investment. Money well spent on a great book!!

This book is a must have. When buying this book you have got to buy the other book also by Virginia Mcleod called Detail in Contemporary Landscape Architecture. They both come with CD roms, having access to all the drawing in CAD format that are displayed in the book. Great for students and property developers, giving ideas and inspiration. A must have.
