Beautiful drawings, if you're a fan of Erte you'll definitely want this book. There is hardly any text in this book, it's all about the pictures. There are eight full colour pictures, the rest are black and white. If you are looking for information on the fashion and clothes of the period skip this book, these clothes are extremely theatrical and do not represent everyday wear.

If you love Erte's art, you will love this. Its a book full of drawings that show his amazing ability to create visual fantasy. These are highly stylised illustrations - predominantly in black and white - and they reflect Erte's love of costume and the theatre. I think the designs in here were probably meant to stimulate ideas rather than be precisely copied and worn. Brilliant.
