Every once in a while something comes along that defies categorisation. A series that pushes the boundaries of what genre fiction is. Sara Douglass’ ‘Troy Game’ is such a series. History, mythology and fantasy are all woven into a rich tapestry. Evocatively real in its setting and with compelling characters, it draws the reader into the labyrinth of its pages.
