A great trip back into Arthurs Melbourne. The main character Risa who we met in the Riley Jensen series is all grown up and getting into trouble all on her own. Mentions of past characters we knew like Riley, Quinn and Rhoan all make cameos and add to the familiarity of the new series. I was prepared to love this, having loved Riley so much but I felt something was missing as I finished the final pages. Don't mistake me, it was an engaging read but I am not sure if Risa is as likeable or engaging as Riley was. That said this is new series with new dangers and worlds to learn about. I will stick with it and see where it leads.
