I didn't think this book is as good as the previous three. The huge battle episode in the town was too drawn out. I would still recommend the book because it's part of the series and their world is further developed especially the other characters. What is still really satisfying is the development of Sabin and Gwen's relationship. Showalter continues to do this really well. I hope her next book in this series is about Paris reconnecting with Sienna.
The 4th Book in this series of Lords of the Underworld. A real grunty story with Sabin, keeper of Doubt, making his appearance and getting snared by Gwen, a harpy. Yes, the story shows the strong presence of women and Gena Showalter gives the women strong characters, physically and mentally. You do not want to mess with a harpy, as the consequences are ruthless. Good read with the usual Uh Hum in it and also more about the other lords.
Another great read in the 4th book of the series. This is about Sabin, keeper of Doubt and leader of the other warriors, and how he meets Gwen. He is rough, tough and consumed in killing hunters and will go to any length to achieve this. But he meets Gwen, immortal with extraordinary abilities that Sabin can not match. Real supernatural reading and enjoyable as Sabin falls for Gwen. Read other series books before this one.
