Ok, this kind of sucked. Didn't realise it was a graphic novel until it arrived... Kind of disappointed, but is really my own fault - should have looked at it more carefully.

This comic reminded me of the old Phantom comics. I would actually recommend that readers of the Carpathian series get this as it introduces you to characters like Solange and Juliette;s sister who are mentioned in the Dark Possession book. It gives you an idea why they dislike the Jaguar clan men so much. Yes it is in comic form but it carries the story line of the Carpathian series on. For what it is in comic form, very well illustrated and written.

its a comic book noy a novel - does not tell you this only its manga.
