Have read all the Dark Series Books, I have reread this one many times, I enjoyed Natalya's humour,
especially enjoyed the trip in the ice caves, Christines seems to be able to bring the story to life. I enjoyed from start to finish.

This has to be my favourite book of the Dark Series. It was great to see an instalment in which the female is just as capable and important in fighting as the males. It doesn't mean that she is physically stronger or that she doesn't need her lifemate, but Natalya has well developed, strong magical powers which play an integral part of the book. It gives the series something fresh. Out of all the books of the series, this is the one that I have read over and over.

My least favourite book in the Dark Series that I have read so far. I found it too long and for the first time found myself skipping pages. I did not find Natalya believable and she had too much "attitude".

Natalya is a vampire hunter who can shift form into a tiger. Vikirnoff (Vik) has been hunting Natalya down as he knows that she is his lifemate and she can save him from becoming an evil vampire. He can't understand why she doesn't step back and let him deal with their foes by himself but she is a very strong woman and can defend herself, and him, very well thank you very much. It is a great story, even though it did seem a little long at times.
