I found this book easy to read and understand, having done some parelli work in the past. This just does it even better. If you are truly looking for a partnership with your horse this is the book for you. I like Klaus am a later to life rider, much later than him. I am working with my first horse and enjoying every minute. I had people tell me "that horse will kill you' but I know she won't. We continue to gain knowledge far and wide and incorporate it into our training. Theres no rush, I have waited along time to have this much cherished partnership. This book has helped me immensly to confirm my thinking and not be pulled into other peoples old and often bad habits. I have also ordered his 'what horses reveal'. This man is an observer, which takes a lot of time. The benefit is all ours.

Hempfling has a talent and much to share. He doesn't always share as well as he seems more able, in this book, to convey something positive and helpful than in his other. Undoubtedly, judging by pics and testimonials he works well with horses. I really feel that i would rather observe him at work than attempt to read his books. STILL haven't finished this one!
