This first book in her amazing epic series, starting with this is an investment worth the time & money to read this whole series! The intricacies and details of reincarnated lives just keeps you guessing. = )

This is a story on a grand scale going over life times. reincarnated into new forms a wizard has to find them and then try get the two fated lovers together. not as easy as its seems. It is a tragic story and if you get into the characters prepare yourself with some tissues. there are so many threads to this story and it is well put together story. make sure you read the whole series it is certainly worth it.

Katharine Kerr is truly one of my favourite authors. If you like Marion Zimmer Bradley's work, then you are bound to love this authors work as well. I especially like the fact that the female characters in her books are not simply shallow love interests for the male characters.
Daggerspell is one of those books you pick up at a bookshop, and are so glad you did, as it transports you to another time and place, and you simply can't put it down. Once you have read this one, you have to read all the others in the series as well, to find out what the characters are doing in their various incarnations through time, as their lifetimes are all intricately interwoven - much like a celtic knot - with no end.
If you like fantasy books, then do yourself a favour and don't miss this one!
