This books is incredibly witty and a really great read. It is a collection of short stories about a couple of robots who are basically gods. The really high points that stick out to me, are the short story about a machine that can create anything that starts with the letter "N", a truly novel way to stop a terrible civil war, and a poem that is written entirely in the language of high mathematics (which sounds a lot stodgier than it really is, and it comes across as fairly Pythonesque in places).
If you like science fiction replete with good fun and social commentry I fully recommend this book.
