Tilly is a smaller-than-average illustrator who works with larger than-life clients. Be it editorial, advertising or packaging, shelikes to approach each with originality and a touch of humour.Tilly draws inspiration from the everyday as well as the odd, andenjoys creating characters based on the people around her. Herclients include the BBC, National Geographic Travellermagazine, Ocado and The Telegraph. Her studio is just astone's throw from the sea in Brighton, UK, where shegraduated with an MA in Illustration and Design in 2006. She adds to thehandmade feel by creating some textures with colouringpencils, felt tips or paint (and sometimes the odd rubbing off aninteresting wall), then she scans and digitally finishes off bycollaging and refining her pictures.
