About the Author

Leonard D. Smith is a social worker with the Psychiatric Emergency Team, Northern Birmingham Mental Health Trust/Birmingham Social Services. He is also an Honorary Fellow in the Institute of Advanced Research in the Humanities at the University of Birmingham.
