About the Author

Theresa H. McDevitt worked as a bilingual stenographer and legal secretary for 20 years while studying astrology and metaphysics. After obtaining a few certificates, in 1980 she began to teach and practice as a Professional Astrologer. She also received a certificate on Hypnotherapy and took a one year curse to receive a non-denomination ordination as a Spiritual Minister.

Theresa specializes in spiritual advice, relationships, past life therapy, planetary cycles and history. Since the early 1980s she lectured for the National Council Geocosmic Research Organization, and from 1990 lectured at conventions around the country for the American Federation of Astrologers and other groups. Her articles have been published in most major astrological publications and other local and foreign magazines.

Her book "Defining Relationships Astrologically" (published in 1990 by www.thevenuspress.com) presents a simplified and original method for teaching and learning the symbolic art/science of astrology. Book includes a unique set of 16 two-sided, color-coded, cutout cards, for easier, faster, learning and teaching. This book features the understanding of the composite method for defining all types of Relationships: romantic, family, business, and friendship. The third edition is now available with significant Biblical translations of the chapters of Revelations with astrological reference.

Her book "Why History Repeats" - Mass Movements and the Generations - Past - Present - future (AFA Publishers Inc. 2005). This book features the precise cyclical and evolutionary process of civilization, from the first century A.D. to the twenty third and beyond. It conveys the message that increased awareness of planetary cycles accelerates the spiral growth process towards world harmony and progress. This insightful world-wide look at history, in easily readable language, clearly explains how destiny is highly dependent on the particular cycle in process at birth.

Theresa's latest book "The Cosmic Hourglass of Life" (2016) is a follow-up to "Why History Repeats". In this book Theresa dives deeper into the evolution and destiny of humanity. She clearly shows the personal DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES each generation experiences from birth to death, potential LIFESPAN, and the specific collective LEGACY to the world. This book explains WHAT, WHEN and WHY whatever is happening to people and the world at any time.
