This fantastic book is filled with lots of pictures to inspire you to create the many mouth watering recipes.
The most interesting thing I have made from this book was the cocoa-cola cake.
Although the measurements are in imperial, it doesn’t pose a problem if you have a conversion chart near by to assist you.

i really liked this book. i think that the recipes featured in it were wonderful, and so helpful. this book had many great recipes for treats such as cupcakes, and as well as having easy step by step instructions, it also had many helpful hints and tips, for making the perfect treat! a fine addition to any bookshelf.

I've wanted this book for ages and it does not disappoint! The service from Fishpond was excellent - the book cam very quickly, and was well packaged so the book was in immaculate condition.

A word of warning (nothing too serious!) but this book has all measurements in imperial so for most recipes you'll need to work out the conversion of pints, ounces, pounds etc into metric..... I had no idea about these, so just sat down one day with my calculator and wrote all the conversions in for the entire book so no more confusion!

This book is a baking bible, highly recommended!!

The copy of the book that I was sent was obviously a US grey market import as the weights and measure were not in Australian cups or even metric or imperial measurements. ‘Nigella’, does provide a conversion on her website to resolve the issue but I would have preferred the bookseller to have spotted this first.

That said, can't fault the book's contents.

I like Nigella - She always writes lovely recipes for all occasions, and her comments at the end of each recipe make you feel as though you are sharing in the delight. Serves 12, but doesn't have to.... make for delicious and slightly guilty reading.

Beautiful book for those who love comfort cooking. Anyone who knows Nigella's love affair with food will know what to expect and will not be disappointed. This would be a fabulous gift for any home bakers in your life. The book was well packaged and arrived quickly. It is a lovely soft-cover edition with the quality feel you expect from Nigella. Very happy with this purchase indeed.

Definately my favourite baking book, and the best I have seen. I love this book, so many delicious and decdent recipes to choose from. It is not just the recipes that i love, but her whole way of describing baking and the joy you can get from it.

If I could only have one cookbook - it would be How to be a Domestic Goddess. I love cooking from this book it is like having Nigella in the kitchen with me.
The recipes are ones I will cook for my family over again. A firm favourite.
