Will Peveler has coached cycling at the University of Alabama, Western Kentucky University, and for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Team In Training (TNT), the world's largest endurance sports training program. He has ridden competitively since 1994, and managed a high-end bike shop where he specialized in fitting cyclists on their bikes. He holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Alabama and teaches classes such as Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, and Anatomical Kinesiology at Mississippi University for Women. He has published many articles on his research in biomechanics and performance in cycling in scientific journals; presented findings on cycling research at the Southeast American College of Sports Medicine; and received numerous research grants.
