if there is one complete box set to own in your life, this is it. although anne of green gables (the first book in the series) is probably the most recognisable by name, it is the subsequent sequels that are truely the gems by author lucy maud montgomery. you can not afford to miss this

I am thoroughly enjoying these books. Having watched the mini-series I wanted to read all the books and would recommend these books to anyone. It's wonderful to spend a part of your day in Anne's world. She views life in such a wonderful way and I find myself unable to put the books down

My 10 year old daughter and I are really enjoying reading the Anne of Green Gables series together. The language in the books is quite different to more modern books, and as a result we are expanding our vocabularies considerably. 10/10

I purchased this set for my wife.
She has been an avid fan of the Anne of Green Gables stories since her childhood, my wife is now 74. She is really pleased that I bought this set for her and will pass it down to our grandaughters when she has finished the series.

This was a very good price for all these books! I really enjoyed reading them as Anne is a very strong and clings to everything she wants until she usually gets it! At some times, I guess, she can be a good role model and in other times not so much. Either way she is a very enjoyable character to read about and as she gets older it seems she gets into worse situations!! :)
