This book is an excellent addition for the color pencil artist. Janie Gildow and Barbara Benedetti Newton show how to give color pencil work that extra push to give it a more realistic look than I've found in other books on colored pencil. Their techniques are easy to follow and many different textures are shown in various demonstrations. Well worth buying!
A fantastic book for explaining technique. Detailed instruction for rendering textures like glass, metal etc. Very well written and easy to follow. I recommend this book for anyone interested in working with coloured pencils.
