I felt the need to put a review here because the overall rating of the book is brought down by one person's review who is actually reviewing fishpond and not Roald Dahl's book.

The best buy if you're a Roald Dahl fan! This volume contains ALL his short stories... and each one is a gem. They are a fabulous showcase of his trademark style and macabre humour. I almost feel like a naughty schoolgirl at the end of each story because of the wicked but hilarious nature of some of his stories.

My personal favourite is the Hitchiker and Lamb to the Slaughter. But don't take my word for it... read it for yourself.

Great book but such a pity that it took three months to get to me!

Fishpond said delivery would take between 6-12 days, but sadly it took a lot longer than this. I tried calling and emailing to no avail. I finally received an email after three months offering a $10 credit towards my next purchase (are they serious??) and the package arrived 12 days (the maximum length) later. I live in a capital city and could not work out why it took so long to arrive.

As I said, good book but appalling customer service. I was very disappointed and will not be using them again.
