I loved this book. It was a bit predictable as you read it but still an enjoyable read.
Look, if you enjoy paranormal books and are sick of reading about only vampires (tho these books do have them in it) then this is the trilogy for you.
If you have read "Twilight" and are looking to start something new then get your hands on the this Trilogy. Completely worth it.
Teen love, Forbidden love, magic, wizards, werewolfs, vampires, action, and so much more excitment to be had durimg this Trilogy

Loved it!! A great ending to a great trilogy. Aimed at the more teenage readers but i (nearly 30) absolutly enjoyed it. Was a great follow up book after the 'Twilight' series. which is sayin something.
Cant wait for the prequil to come out in 2010!

I bought this book the day it came out and it was just as amazing as I expected it to be. Sure, some of it was a little bit predictable, but we'd had three books to figure a lot of it out.
It is very well written and the characters are still some of the best I've ever read about. Even after it's finished you still find yourself thinking about some conversation they had, very clever writing.
I was sad to see the series end, but I can't wait for Cassandra Clare's next series!
A perfect way to end the Trilogy.

I really don't know about this one. Some parts of this final installment of 'The Mortal Instruments' trilogy were so predictable that one might be forgiven for thinking it was written by a computer program given the major plot points and asked to resolve them in a satisfactory manner. And considering that this is a series written for the young adult audience I shouldn't really be bemoaning the fact that everything was tidied up so very, very prettily.
But I am.
Don't get me wrong, I like happily ever after and this did end happily ever after - with one exception which was handled in the sort of way I would handle a goldfish dying, and I don't like fish. But there was nothing surprising here. At all. Okay, so I was riveted to it for an entire day, astounding my son and my husband with the way I could totally tune them out, but even though it was a page turner, and thoroughly entertaining, I can't help the fact that in the end I feel a little let down.
It IS a good series; it IS exciting, and it IS a good ending to the series; that's why I'm giving it such a high rating. I just wish that the supposed plot twists weren't so spoon fed.

Third book of the Mortal Instruments triology.
I LOVE this series, probably the favorite series that i'm reading right now
this book did not disappoint me at all, all the unanswered questions are answered
and loose ends tied. I totally reccomend this series to all the teens that enjoy the paranormal, action, romance, etc this series has got everything you could possably want in a book. I seriously doubt
that you will be disappointed. I hope to read more of Cassandra Clare's writing in the future.
