Well, this is a pretty famous reference book for Christian Counselling - I think most active counsellors should already know it. An incredible amount of work has gone into this book. I have to take my hat off to Gary Collins.
Collins comes from a cognitive-behavioural type perspective but this certainly doesn't rule it out if you are of a different persuasion.
It has an amazing number of chapters you can access on a wide range of topics. I am finding it very helpful. My only reservation would be it doesn't cover the women's issues and men's issues in any great depth, but it gives excellent coverage of different difficulties often faced in life stages such as adolescence and the later years. As a Christian reference for counselling, it is invaluable.
